The First Day

Hey, I am here... On the first day of summer vacation. It was an awesome day... well, uh, almost. It was sort of weird, and somewhat painful, but it all turned out alright.

It all started this morning. My nose was so runny, and I had been blowing it from the time I got downstairs. And by the biggest blow my left ear had sort of felt different from the other ear. Soon it started getting better until we went to my dad's clinic. At his office, I was having a great time having lunch with Mom and Dad to showing the office lady, Lisa, this exact blog you, the reader, are reading right now. The bad news was that dad stretched my ear so far that now it is farther away from my head than the other one. Oh, yeah, now all my ear problems are solved. Not just yet. On the ride home I plugged my ears with my fingers to block a sound. But when I pulled my fingers out it began to hurt on my right ear, the opposite ear from the ear that Dad had stretched. I cried for a while about it but soon it got way better once I blew my nose as advice from Dad.

I had a great first day of summer including the time I went to see my grandma at the hospital. And why is she at the hospital? Awesome question. Well, to start back in 06' or 07' grandma had a stroke, sort of major. She's been recovered from that already, but things got bad for her and my parents when my grandpa, or as I called him, Papa, died in October of last year. Just last month she went out to Dallas, Texas to help her daughter, Cherise, my aunt, with their two new twin babies, Ella and Everett, but while down there she had little minor strokes that led to a giant stroke she had here in Tennessee after she came back. Now she is recovering very well by taking Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. It's really fun at the hospital especially because there's a TV in the dining room. The bad part of the TV thing that it only has a limited amount of channels, by that I mean it doesn't have Disney Channel, Disney XD, or Nickelodeon. At least they have the Discovery Channel.

So I've had an awesome day, I want you to have a great summer. Like I said this past month, it's all downhill. But now, we've reached the ground. Have a great summer blog ya' later.

The Last Day

Hey, I'm back and I've been having fun this past week. And guess who won American Idol.... Kris Allen. I mean that for me was a total rip-off. So to explain the title, today is the last day of school. Yes, the last day of school, and Mother's Day in Bolivia or Día de la Madre. So anyway, I'm so happy and excited. Also, it starts off a summer of Journey to Tennessee. Say goodbye to Lakeland Elementary. Oh, and I am also getting home-schooled next year. There may not be time with kids but I will have time with Mom and have lunch with my Dad every day.

Well, besides that I saw Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian on the 23rd. It was awesome. In my opinion it was better then the first movie, or as my cousin, Braxton would say, "Boom, Boom, Fire Power". This a way awesome movie. It had many great actors in it. Ben Stiller came back as the protagonist of the movie, Larry Daley. Also back is Robin Williams as Theodore Roosevelt, and Jedediah & Octavius played by Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan. And many new characters such as General George Armstrong Custer, of World War II, played by Bill Hader, Amelia Earhart, first woman pilot, portrayed by Academy Award nominee, Amy Adams, and the new pharaoh antagonist and big brother of Ahkmenrah, Kahmenrah, whose actor, Hank Azaria also did other characters in Night at the Museum 2 such as, the famous statue, The Thinker, and the Lincoln Memorial statue of Abraham Lincoln. It also had small, but funny cameos of Darth Vader and Oscar the Grouch. So anyway, it was totally awesome... B.T.W., You're gonna wanna read this next paragraph. It's going to also describe as totally awesome.

Now two days ago, the 25th, I got invited with my parents to a pool party with the Sotos and many of the church families. I had the greatest time, unfortunately, my mom and dad (but mostly my dad) didn't put any sunscreen on me. So like after that I was itching in my shirt I took it off having my mom realizing that I had just been sunburned. Currently I'm not wearing a shirt and I am wearing Hawaiian Tropic© Burn Relief on my arms, back, and belly. Because of this I yesterday did not go to school. But that did not stop me from going to school today (with a shirt). B.T.W., You also might like this next paragraph which this one will be described by these four words (not counting the quotations) "Boom, Boom, Fire Power".

Enough with the B.T.W.s. Today was a great day of school, we drew what we want to do this summer. And we had a Compliment* party, my mom came too, since we had to give back The Secret Garden video that we had borrowed from Mrs. Whitten. So she stayed for the party and for the rest of the day at school. During our indoor recess, I made a board game with the help of Chandler. It was awesome, but unfortunately I didn't win. Wha, wha, wha, whaaa..... I know it's not that cool in written form, but it's a funny sound affect. So I had a great time.

I hope this starts of a new summer generation of this blog. So hope I'll have time to blog you tommorrow. Anyway, for all the readers reading this blog, which I hope there are some reading out there, I wish you a Happy Summer, and Día de la Madre. Goodbye, blog you later, America.

*In my class we add a letter to the word, compliment, whenever we got a compliment. When finished with the word we have a pizza party.

Nana in Tennessee

Hi, ya... It's me. I'm back. And Happy International Day of Families. Yes, that's today and it's a weird coincidence beacause my grandma and grandpa, Nana & Umpa, is in town today and tommorrow. She comes from my mom's side of the family, obviously since my other grandma lives here already. It's also another coincidence that it's my mom's birthday. It's been fun we've played dinosaurs, the family's went to On the Border, we even got to watch half of the "Secrets of the Muppets" episode of The Jim Henson Hour on YouTube. We're gonna watch the rest tomorrow. I had a great time. It's still not over yet.

Ya know, I learned alot from that "Secrets of the Muppets" episode. Well, since they told the Muppets' secrets, here's one you didn't know. Gonzo said, quote, "At night, uh, I puts soda into my socks to make my feet fizz, oh...", unquote, but not unwierd. And you think that's funny, try seeing Gonzo, and two other new Muppets, Bean Bunny & Leon, running and screaming in terror when Jim Henson says 'puppet'.

So it's been great, now I may have not gotten mom a present (yet) but I've given her alot of attention even though it's Grilled Cheese Friday. It's going to be great, so I hope you have a great weekend. See ya.

Who's the Idol?

Hi, to explain the title, tonight somebody is going home on American Idol. Either Danny Gokey, the awesome, Kris Allen, the awesomer, of Adam Lambert, the awesomest. I'm wanting Adam to win. Just today I heard a girl say on the radio say, "Adam has the intensity of Chris Daughtry, the fearlessness of Carrie Underwood, and the urge to win of Kelly Clarkson." Anyway, I just saw Danny Gokey's trip to Wisconsin, his hometown. And now I'm watching Kris in Arkansas. It's so cool... Jordin Sparks is preforming "Battlefield" now.

Yesterday was great. It was Field Day. I had so much fun, besides the part where I lost my glasses for a few seconds. Someone stepped on em'... you don't want to know the rest. I sucked at the Sack Race too.

Adam just went to San Diego, his hometown. Then Katy Perry will preform. Back to the subject, on that same day we went to Texas Roadhouse on the last Lakeland Elementary* night. While there I got balloons, which mademe become Jack Sparrow. I got sword, a shield, a hat, a beld with a sword holder that came with an extra sword. Awsome, right.

One of the results came and Kris Allen is going to the Top 2. And the ellimination is............ Danny Gokey. Goodbye Danny. And goodbye for today, it's Journey to Tennessee. Goodnight everyone.

Mother's Day with the Jessops

Hey, ya. St. Louis was awsome. Unfortunately, since the call to tell us if we got the call back was supposed to be at 9:00. I didn't get a call. Like the Muny, there is just something even better for me.

Yesterday was my dad's All About Women chiropic screening downtown. I had a babysitter for 8 hours. I'm fine with it since my babysitter is Tori, is Kalee McBride's, my mom's couponing friend, daughter. I didn't know her but my mom told me she liked drama and the preformance arts.

We had so much fun. We made stories, we sang songs, we watched YouTube videos. We even went on iCarly.com. We also practiced The Underground. Currently we are making a movie, Lights, Cameras, Kanines. It's about a talking dog who runs off to Hollywood to be a big star.

So anyway, it's Mothers's Day. The day deticated to moms all over America, and all the othe places on Earth. So I might as well tell you what mom wants.

  1. Money for a new pair of walking shoes or a purse that she will pick out

  2. Ten new patients at my dad's office

  3. And no going anywhere except church for the day.

Yep, she's had a ruff weekend. So that's what she wants. Also for Mother's Day we sent nana, my grandma, a card. Now she always sends me cards with money in them. Like 1$ bills to like on really big occasions 20$. But this time we put money in the card for her. When she saw it she laughed so hard. Nothing like a little oppositing.

Anyway yesterday was Brandon's, my friend and nieghbor, birthday. So he invited me to the party but we couldn't go because of the babysitting. On the brightside, we got him a cool present, a 4-pack of Expedition brand Tech Decks. Oh, while getting his Tech Decks I got some myself. A 3-pack of Black Label brand Tech Dechs. Chandler will freak out. Or get mad.

So I guess that's my news for today. See ya, and Happy Mother's Day. Only 235 days left.

A Not-So-Christmas Story

It's Max, and I am ready for this audition. You may be saying to yourself, "What audition?". Well, if you haven't already read my blog post, Journey to Tennessee: Easter Edition, it mentions my audition as Flick in "A Christmas Story" in Missouri. Now, tomorrow, I will do my audition in front of the people of the Repretory Theater. As Flick might say, "Thith ith nothin'". Yep, I'm ready. The bad thing about this is that my other acting friend, Parker Donavan, is auditioning too. He's better than me. One of the many reasons he's better is because, even though he is the exact size of me but he is older. Try 13 years old. Compared to my ethics, he's proffesional.

I still am confedent that I will get the callback. They may even choose me for Ralphie. This isn't like the Muny where I got in because I was cute. But, talented. Parker might get a part. Well, even if he was Darth Vader he'd get a part. So to get my mind off Parker I might as well change the subject. Anyway, yesterday I got a new Tech Deck. Chandler was not that excited. I guess he just thinks since I'm a bit not like him he dosen't want me to be like him. It's a limited edition Black Label if you wanted to know. So because of the St. Louis audition my Mom is so stressed out. She still hasn't packed. But I am ready, I practice without my script since I memorized and I didn't stutter. She loves me and she believes I can go through the callback. I know too.

I know I'm going to do well and for once beat Parker Donavan. I guess this will be great. We don't know when the callbacks are but I know I'll be there. I'll just keep it at this and contact you Saturday after I go to Missouri. It just occured to me that it's like the St. Louis Again sequel. Let's leave it at this. There's only 238 days of 09' left. I just have to say bye. Oh, and if you could tell your friends about Journey to Tennessee if you are reading. Bye.

Four Days of Fun (At Least for Me)

Four days, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday lead to only one word and that is, awsome. At least that's what I think.

First on Friday, I saw Dad for the last time till Sun. because he was off to a chiropractic seminar in Dallas, Texas and while he was there he met up with his mom, who happened to have a stroke while visiting and had to go to the hospital, and his sister. Now that was just the start.

On Saturday, to advertise for my Dad's office we went to the parking lot of Kroger and held a sign showing things that my Dad might do. Now that may sound crazy but alot of people advertised there. There was Trustmark, Junior Achievement, even the Zaxby's chicken was there. One that interested me alot was the Rockin' Robin DJ event. The DJ, whose name I don't know, did all these contests and alot of people spun the record and won a prize. Yes, even me. I won the Macarena contest and guess what I won. You just can't take the suspension, I'll just tell you. I won the first place ribbon and... a stuffed monkey. They named it Mac, last name: Erana, funny. I may rename it. Anyway, that wasn't the best part about Saturday, I got a 4-pack of Tech Decks, you know those fingerboards, I got the Black Label company Tech Deck. It's so awsome even though Chandler, my school friend who has a very big resemblance with me, hates me. He thinks I'm caught up with his life. You see I have 4 Tech Decks and he has 5.

So bummer, but the fun went on when Sunday came, you see we I'm having this big cough and Mom wants me to feel better for my Friday auditions in St. Louis so we skipped church. It was practically a do-nothing day. First, I got up from bed watching Moises Arias in Beethoven's Big Break with Mom. Later we watched a Wizards of Waverly Place marathon till 7:00 I believe. At the beginning of each episode she paused it and we studied my lines for "A Christmas Story". And soon I got to watch the new episodes of Hannah Montana and Sonny with a Chance. When I went to bed later when I was still trying to get to sleep Dad came in to say hello, and then goodbye.

So this was going great, as for Monday, I finished Scene 5 of The Underground and played Monopoly: The Card Game with Dad. Not much but it was fun. I'd have to say that that weekend (plus one weekday) was awsome. sorry to cut it short or, well... long. Goodbye. Oh, and Happy Cinco de Mayo. Bye.

It's All Downhill

Hey, Max is here and it is May 1st. Or in Ireland, the first day of Summer, or Beltane. For me, May is the month that's all downhill till Summer Vacation. That's what my mom, and my teacher, Ms. Whitten says. Summer is the the time where I cam play all day, watch the best TV shows, and everything outdoors.

Another thing Summer is for and that is The Underground. I wanna let some ideas on you. Now, 11-year-old Tennessee singer, Brittany Russel from Brittany Russel & the Trunk Monkeys happens to go to my school. Even though she's in the 5th grade I may be able to ask her if she may be able to sing some songs for The Underground. And if you think she's not famous I'mjust going to tell you this. One, she's won a contest from Disney. Two, she's won a songwriting contest here in Tennessee. Three, she met Miley Cyrus. And four, she's already made a CD in O8'. Just letting you know that.

Anyway, back to the subject. It's just 26 days till the last day of school for the Shelby County 2008- 2009 School Year. It's not that long we just have to wait. The best we can do to make it pass by is vote in the 2009 Webby Awards. Beaker's "Ode to Joy" is being nominated, let's just leave it at that. So Spring's almost over let's say goodbye to the songbirds and daisies and say hello to pools and sandcastles. Actually, Memphis doesn't have beaches. So I guess this is all going by fast. I'll just say goodbye and Happy Beltane. Max out.

Max is rockin' his summer (Bottom center)
