Opposite Day

I'm back! Hey, I didn't go to school today. Yeah, right. I'm telling you wrong because it happens to be Opposite Day. And if you don't know what that is, I'll tell you about it.

Opposite Day is the one holiday I made up, (not counting Grilled Cheese Friday). Opposite Day is the day where everythings all... well... opposite. That's a no-brainer. As I was saying, Oppposite Day is based on the Season 1 episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. Oh, I forgot to tell you SpongeBob SquarePants got cancelled. Yeah, you think I mean that too. Tom Kenny would never allow it.

I've got other news, too. Today at ballet it was our last day of the ballet semester. It was Parent Observation Day. My mom came, I liked that. And no I am not kidding. It was so fun. Especially the part where the assistant teacher, Kelsi and I did a dance that had to follow a story. Mine was a story of a squirrel, played by me, is trying to get away from a girl driving a car, Kelsi, that tries running over the squirrel. It was very funny.

So today's been a great day. And so will to the rest of this year. I don't want to wish you a great Opposite Day. Kidding. See ya' later, on my journey to Tennessee.

Career Day

Hey, Max is back! Today at school was career day. Fortunately, Dad, the chiropractor, was free with no patients in that time period. So he came to career day and showed people what a chiropractor does. Cool, right.

Anyway, I also got a glimpse at other cool careers like a photographer, and USA Karate trainer. What I especially liked, was Mr. Doty's career, who happens to be the guy who produces the commercials for ABC/24. There was also, detective, ice carver, and even people from the navy.

Still, I feel as I must follow my dreams to become actor. That will definetely, my career. People might want me to follow my dad's footsteps. Well, for me I'm going to follow Jack Black's footsteps.

Now tomorrow will be special, I actually have been invited to my cousin Braxton's 10th birthday party. The theme is Wiis. We will have an awsome time. On the down side, I still haven't gotten him a gift. We still have ideas, but we cannot tell you Braxton might read this very post you are reading.

So, 09' has been great so far. 251 days to go till the end. I hope you have a great weekend. Comment me on gift ideas and Happy Grilled Cheese Friday!

Guy's Night Out

It is finally Friday. Mom is gone to the Orpheum, she offered to take tickets for a Ballet Memphis so that means it's a guy's night out. Me and my Dad hanging out till 10:00 or even maybe 12:00. Well, Mom did say 10:00. That may just be the time of her job, more time would mean she's talking forever.

As I was saying, Friday is here. TCAP is over, yes, it's over. Social Studies was the hardest. I'd have to say it's easium*. It was alright. Science was easy, so was Math.
Now, it's not just Grilled Cheese Friday it's a Guy's Day. We're havin' so much fun. I've already played the Monopoly Card Game with him. I won. I knew I would. The last times I've played it with him. I won twice, he won three times. Dad on the other hand is glued to the TV. "Prison Break" is his main thing. I watch it with him because it seems to be my only thing to watch on TV.

Now, I only have like about 30 min. till 10:00. I'm not worried about when Mom will come home. I'm just hoping "Prison Break will end soon. Then, I could play Monopoly the Card Game again with him. And break my record of 3. At least I get to watch the funny commecials in between too. Like, that Kia Soul 2010 Hamster Commecial or the Burger King commercial for the SpongeBob toys that featured a parody "I Like Big Butts (And I Cannot Lie)". You know, "I like Square Butts and I Cannot Lie"

Funny commercial. Anyway, "Prison Break" is over and I get to watch "America's Funniest Home Videos" (AFV). This will be a great day. AFV is for commercials so I have time to say goodbye.

My TCAP Test

My journey here has been awsome from the start. Only, the down sides are pretty small except for this. They call it TCAP.

TCAP is sort of a standardized test only it goes on your permanent record. TCAP stands for Tennessee Comprehensive Assesment Program. Long, huh. Anyway, that is this week. I've already started today at school. Not that hard but that was only Reading & Language Arts. Math is tomorrow and I need to study. There are 77 questions in each section. Some are fun and some were a bit weird.

There was a poem called "Broccoli's Blues" by an anthromorphic peice of broccoli who sings about why nobody eats broccoli. It was written by Beverly McLoughland. A bit ridiculous. But one of my favorites was a magazine article on Fallingwater, the house built partly on a waterfall. The architect was Frank Lloyd Wright.

I liked this TCAP test. Only, before I thought it'd be boring because of my cousin, Braxton's opinion, "I hate TCAP." But it wasn't that bad. I hope I'll say that after Math. Anyway, I'll blog you later. See ya, I'll be blogging on my journey on TCAP.

Journey to Tennessee: Easter Edition

Hey it's me, Max Jessop. Or as they call me on the World Wide Web, maxjess12@att.net. I'm back from Missouri. Well, I actually came back on the 11th. It was so cool, me, Kohl, Brynn, Chase, and Kohl's Dad played Guitar Hero: World Tour together. Here are some highlights from the game:

Round 1-
Me Kohl Brynn Chase Dad
27% 49% 24% 57% Didn't Play
Round 2-
57% 98% 36% 21% 100%

Technically, I rocked in 2nd round, 1st: a little suckish. Want more bad news, Kohl was yet again Cinderella or her evil twin brother.

Anyway, I'm working now to get this audition. It's not an open casting call. You've gotta be invited. Miss Carrie is inviting me. The audition is for a stage show variant of the classic, "A Chrismas Story"at the Repertory Theater. I'm auditioning for the role of Flick. Now, if you haven't seen the movie, Flick is the one who gets his tougue stuck on the flagpost.

It was awsome. The night on at home when we came back was good. Me and my dad dyed the Easter eggs. On Easter me, my cousins (Bridgette, Braxton, Myles, Kendall, Samantha, Kylie) had an Easter egg hunt. Not inside, but in my Grandma's house. Why? It's so big you could hide anything in it. I found mine. It was awsome. Before the hunt, at my house I got presents from the Easter Bunny, 3 "Monsters .vs. Aliens" toys from McDonalds, a guitar stand, $2, and Monopoly: The Card Game (which I played and lost to my dad). And now I have to study because of TCAP tomorrow. So I guess I'll see ya' later. I hope. Bye. Adios. Salut. Ciao.

St. Louis Again

It's me, again. And today, I'm going back to St. Louis, MO, for a trip to see my friends and my acting teacher, Ms. Carrie Houk. She's nice.

Anyway, I've done this alot and it'll be so fun. I just hope my friend, Kohl won't do this again.

You, don't wanna know. On the bright side,we're renting a car since ours is running low. The rental car is awsome, it's a Ford Focus.

It'll be me and my mom, dad will stay here in Tennessee. I'm hoping I'll have a great time. Last time, I saw a peregrine falcon.

I will inform you about the trip on the day after Easter. So for now, bye, and I'll be on my journey to Missouri. See ya!

Ballet Blues

Hey, it's Saturday, the second awsomest day of the week, the first is Friday. Since Friday is Grilled Cheese Friday, the day I get to have a Grilled Cheese Sandwich for every meal. Except on school day, in which I can have it for every meal except lunch when I have aoast Beef Sandwich. Anyway, as I was saying Saturdays are cool. Only if you don't have ballet class on that awsome day. It isn't that bad, but, if you look at it this way I go to ballet class on Tuesdays.

You see from the first post you red that I am a child actor. When I get my show on Disney. They're probably going to ask me to dance. Why ballet? The reason is yet because ballet is the center of all dancing. I know your thinking, "What, ballet can help my hip-hop". It's true, it can even help your football. So, I take that so if I take other dancing classes (which I do) I am
already experienced.

As I was saying, I had already took the classes on Tuesdays in the Young Beginners Class. Unfortunately, I had to make up 2 classes I had missed. I had to take them on Sat. and in the Ballet 1 class. It wasn't that bad. Only it took up 1 hour of my time. So, I guess I'll try having more time next Saturday. Wuh, wuh, wuh.... I have another class on that day. Sorry.

Anyway, I'll see you later as we progress on my journey in Tennessee

April Fools!

April the first, a.k.a April Fools Day. The one day you can prank people all day long! I've got ideas for today's April Fools Day prank. Actually, I've already done a prank with my dad to do on my mom. The funniest prank since O8' for my family. You see, I had already went to the bathroom before school. After, Mom looked in the toilet. The inside was red. The secret: my Dad got a cup of red food coloring and poured in the toilet of my bathroom. She was worried I might have bled or pead out red. We then told her and she was suprised as we blurted out, "April Fools!". Now I still have a few tricks up my sleeve. I could do the classic, Shorting the Sheets. Or even mix blue and red food coloring to make purple and pour that in my Mom's chiro-cleyns tea, which makes her poop. So anyway, thanks for reading, and Happy April Fools!
